The terms, such as they are. This is a private pool between friends, so treat this as the stuff we'd all agree on anyway if anyone asked.
What this is
A scoreboard. You pick NFL games against the spread, the app keeps track, and it works out who’s winning. It is not a sportsbook and it takes no bets — it can’t even take your money. Nothing here is betting advice, and AI Brown least of all.
Money
- Buy-ins and payouts happen between you and the commissioners, offline, however the group has always done it.
- No money passes through the app. The “paid” marker is just a commissioner ticking a box so they can remember who’s settled up.
- Payout projections shown in-app are an estimate until a commissioner confirms them.
Getting in
- Invite or approval only. A commissioner has to let you in.
- One account per person.
- 18 and over.
- Commissioners can remove an account — realistically only for a duplicate, a no-show, or someone being a problem in chat.
Picks and grading
- Picks lock at kickoff. After that they’re final.
- Live records during a slate are provisional. The official record is the graded one, and grading runs after Monday night.
- If a line or a result looks wrong, tell a commissioner. They can regrade a week. Their call is the one that counts.
- Miss a week and you take the zero, same as always.
Chat
Everything you post is visible to everyone in the pool, including the commissioners. Talk as much trash as you like about people’s picks. Don’t post anything you wouldn’t say to someone’s face at the table, and don’t post anything that would get the group in trouble.
AI Brown
He’s a parody. Every opinion he has is invented, including his opinion of every real player he mentions, and none of it describes anything anyone actually said or did. He is also, frequently, wrong.
No promises about uptime
This is one person’s side project. It can go down, ESPN’s data can be late, and a phone can eat a submission. If something breaks near a deadline, message a commissioner — they can sort it out manually. Don’t let a technical hiccup be the reason a pick doesn’t count.
If these change
The commissioners will say so in the app. Carrying on playing means you’re fine with it.
